SOLID EUROPEAN OAKS

Our oak fire surrounds, mantel shelves, and mirrors are crafted from prime-grade solid kiln-dried European Oak. This method of drying the wood results in a cleaner finish, free from the splits commonly found in air-dried oak. A material renowned for its strength, durability, and distinctive grain patterns. This type of oak is known for its high density, which makes it incredibly resistant to damage and wear, making it perfect for mantel shelves that demand a sleek, clean aesthetic.

Our rustic oak beams and fire surrounds are made from European air-dried oak (dried for 3-5 years). This process allows the wood to naturally develop splits, knots, and cracks, enhancing its rustic charm. The result is a unique, character-filled beam that adds a touch of authenticity and warmth to your fireplace.

HIDROFUGO MDF

Regarding our painted fireplaces and media walls, we utilize Hidrofugo MDF, regarded as one of the best MDFs on the market, and not to be confused with low-grade craft MDFs. Hidrofugo is renowned for its water, heat resistance, and smooth finish. To ensure a flawless finish, we meticulously spray paint each piece to a 20% sheen, providing a uniform, high-quality finish that enhances the beauty of the design. Furthermore, we understand the importance of colour in interior design and the need for our products to complement your existing decor, so we also offer a colour-matching service. This allows us to provide a bespoke finish that perfectly aligns with your colour scheme, ensuring your new fireplace or media wall seamlessly adds to your home.

EUROPEAN MICRO MARBLE

For our marble fireplaces, we use micro marble. This engineered stone is made from small pieces of marble combined with a low quantity of high-quality resin. The key to a high-quality micro-marble vs an inferior quality is the resin content; our marbles contain as low as 4% resin, which gives a bright sheen and a much more elegant appearance than far east marble with high resin contents. The benefit of using micro-marble over natural marble is a material that captures the natural beauty of marble while offering increased durability and consistency in pattern and colour. PORTUGESE LIMESTONE

Finally, for our limestone fireplaces, we exclusively use Portuguese Limestone. This natural stone, sourced directly from the quarries of Portugal, is celebrated for its unique characteristics and superior quality. The stone’s beautiful off-white hue, fine grain, and smooth finish lend an air of refined elegance to each fireplace. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Portuguese Limestone is highly heat-resistant and durable, making it an ideal choice for limestone fireplaces.
